Profile details

The Weather Manager Profile details settings are used to display location data for the selected weather profile.

SettingDescription
Continent Displays the continent the selected weather profile’s weather station is located on.
Country Displays the country the selected weather profile’s weather station is located in. A location may be a city that is not well known or at an installation whose name does not provide an indication of a nearby city.
State/Province Displays the state or province the selected weather profile’s weather station is located in.
Location Displays the weather profile location name. Locations may include world cities, weather stations near cities (with suffix “w-s”), or weather stations not associated with a city like military/research installations or airports.
Source Displays the weather source acronym. For example: TMY3 for EnergyPlus.
Latitude Displays the selected weather profiles location’s global latitude value.
Note: For the southern hemisphere, displays a negative latitude (eg -35.2).
Longitude Displays the selected weather profiles location’s global longitude value.
Tip: The longitude value for a location must be referenced to the standard latitude used to define clock time for the location. Longitude is used to compute sun times for heat gain calculations.
Elevation Displays the selected weather profile’s location elevation or altitude relative to sea level.
User Edited Displays Yes if the selected weather profile has been edited or No if it has not been edited.
Climate/Moisture Zone Displays a combined value for the climate and moisture zone classifications associated with the selected weather location. Climate zones are classified using numbers 1 through 8. Moisture zones are classified using letters A, B or C (moist, dry or marine).
Tip: Units Display – Units are displayed using the default system of units that was defined for the project, but can be changed to display using alternative units.
